Welcome to the Youth Voice section of the Art Is Education website created by and for youth. The ACOE’s Alliance for Arts Learning Leadership believes in supporting and amplifying Youth Voice and Youth Leadership. Too often it is through the voice of adults that we hear about how important the arts are in youth education, and now it is time to hear straight from youth. The arts (music, dance, drama, spoken word, visual and media arts) are essential for us to express our voice and our vision for what we think is important for today and for the future. We must voice our opinions and express our feelings on how the arts affect our lives, so the arts are not cut out of education!
