Site in Sight: How Location Shapes Perspective, an interdisciplinary high school curriculum, addresses works of art from the American, Contemporary, and African Collections, providing students the opportunity to explore issues such as Leadership, Power, Environment, Human Interaction, Life Transitions, identity, Perspective and Culture.
The workshop will include in-gallery and classroom activities for adaptation to your classroom setting. Participants will receive the complete curriculum that includes lesson plans for English, History, and the Visual Arts, 15 object information sheets that feature excerpts from artist interviews, critics, art historians, and historians, as well as a DVD with images for classroom discussion.
