  I am interested in the arts because for me, art is an outlet for my ideas and emotions. I have many thoughts constantly coming into my head. When I finally see them expressed through art either on paper or any other medium, I feel a great sense of satisfaction from my creation. Art is important because it allows me to express my individuality. I feel accomplished when I produce works of art because I can call the pieces I create my own. They come from my personal imagination and I feel proud to know this. Art is also significant to me because I hope to one day work as a graphics animation designer at a company like PIXAR. Creating artwork can sometimes be challenging for me because I’m not accustomed to using a vast variety of mediums yet. I know I will have to become more versatile if I choose to pursue a graphics design career. Since I’ve started doing art, I have become more appreciative of distinct artist’s styles and methods. I realized I was stronger while working with particular mediums like paint than I previously thought. What I enjoy most is the feeling I get when I have completed a large art project. I feel proud and humbled at the same time to stand back and look at my individual creation. |
