Kathy leads the Arts Active Parents in Alameda County by producing an informational monthly newsletter, providing support to school and district parent groups, convening countywide parent groups and forums, and spearheading parent-led advocacy campaigns.
Arts Community Support and Public Forums Coordinator: Sabrina Klein
Sabrina works with regional arts organizations such as the Alameda County Arts Commission and California College of the Arts to create public value for arts learning and to provide professional development for teaching artists to partner effectively with schools through joint projects such as the Teaching Artist Institute and the Arts in Education Institute.

The seminar is a professional learning community that provides on-going professional development for use of the Teaching for Understanding and Studio Thinking Frameworks to enable schools to deepen the quality of arts learning and arts integration in their classrooms.
